Lins also won album of the year in the alternative pop category for "Obywatelka K.L.", on which she recorded her own interpretations of songs by Grzegorz Ciechowski and the band Republika.
Accepting the artist of the year award, she dedicated it to "all idealist artists who do their own thing and believe in not depleting their creativity or stripping it of its qualities in exchange for the profits one can draw from it".
The music video award went to Maciej Aleksander Bierut, Kasia Lins and Karol Łakomiec for the clip accompanying Lins' cover of the Republika song "Śmierć w bikini".
Other winners included Pezet, who took hip-hop album of the year for "Muzyka popularna", and rock group Coma, who won in the metal album category for "Coma Live at Pol'and'Rock Festival". The rock and blues album award went jointly to Błażej Król for "Popiół" and Waluś Kraksa Kryzys for "Tematy i wariacje". Zalia won pop album of the year for "Serce", while Michał FOX Król received the alternative album award for "City Cluster". The pop single of the year went to Kuban, Faust and Zalia for "Kyoto", and hip-hop artist O.S.T.R. won single of the year for "Sam".
Warszawskie Combo Taneczne won roots music album of the year for "Pamiętam twoje oczy". Accepting the award, Jan Młynarski described the ensemble as a group of friends united by a passion for old Polish music. "Playing this kind of music, entirely acoustic, with such a strong sonic and performative identity, depends on not doing it with random people", he said.
The evening's Golden Fryderyk lifetime achievement award — given to artists who have made outstanding contributions to Polish musical culture — went to veteran rock band Lady Pank, founded in the early 1980s by guitarist Jan Borysewicz and vocalist Janusz Panasewicz. Culture Minister Marta Cienkowska presented the award, saying it was "a great honor to present this award to legends of Polish music — legends whose songs I used to record onto my own mixtapes on cassette".
"I want to thank all the people who have been coming to our concerts for these 45 years", Panasewicz said, adding: "I wish you all here that you could play and be on stage for as long, because no better adventure will come your way".
A posthumous Golden Fryderyk was also awarded to Stanisław Sojka, a vocalist and pianist who died in August 2025. Journalist Piotr Metz noted that Sojka became the first artist in the award's history to receive a Golden Fryderyk for lifetime achievement in two categories — jazz and pop — in the same year. "His musical horizon seemed to have no limits", Metz said. "He was great singing with Svora in Jarocin and for the Pope in the Vatican. He was a friend to us all, our wise teacher".
The Fryderyki awards have been presented since 1995 by the Phonographic Academy, a jury of nearly 1,800 artists, producers, journalists and industry representatives convened by the Audio Video Producers Association.
