Boeing 737 makes emergency landing at Warsaw airport

No one was injured when a passenger jet with a damaged tyre made an emergency landing at Warsaw’s Chopin Airport on Thursday morning, Polish news media reported.

The LOT Polish Airlines Boeing 737, which was flying in from Tel Aviv with 154 passengers and six crew aboard, touched down at around 9am, public broadcaster Polish Radio’s IAR news agency reported.

Fire crews were on standby as the jet landed.

Air traffic at the Warsaw airport was proceeding normally, IAR reported.
