Fierce storms are expected on Saturday in the north of the country, but there is a strong possibility of rain and wind across Poland.
According to Poland’s Meteorology and Water Management Institute temperatures are to fall significantly on Monday, after weeks of scorching heat.
Firefighters were called out over 2,500 times over the last 24 hours, pumping out water from flooded basements and removing fallen trees.
Most severe damage was reported overnight in the central Mazowieckie region.
