COVID-19 cases in Poland continue on a high

 Poland's Health Ministry informs of 7145 thousand new cases of infection with COVID-19. Another 9 people have died.

 Most new infections were confirmed in the Mazovian region with capital Warsaw (1768), Lublin province (1052) and Podlasie (572). 

 The country's total number of cases during the pandemic now stands at 3,250,247. 76,999 people have died. 2,706,968 have recovered. 

 On Saturday, Poland's Health authorities reported 9798 new COVID-19 infections and 115 more deaths related to COVID-19, the highest daily number since April 23.

 A year ago, Poland saw its highest number of new infections since the pandemic started: 21 629, and 202 deaths.
