The seven-member jury, chaired by German director Wim Wenders, also includes Japanese director, screenwriter and producer Hikari; American director Reinaldo Marcus Green; Nepalese director Min Bahadur Bham; South Korean actress Doona Bae; and Indian director Shivendra Singh Dungarpur.
Puszczyńska's recent successes include The Zone of Interest (2023) by Jonathan Glazer, which won the Academy Award for best international feature, and A Real Pain (2024) by Jesse Eisenberg.
She previously produced Paweł Pawlikowski's Oscar-winning Ida and his later film Cold War.
Puszczyńska is a member of the Polish, European and American film academies.
Twenty-two films will compete for the Golden Bear, the Berlinale's top award.
The Ukrainian-Polish documentary Traces, directed by Alisa Kovalenko and Marysia Nikitiuk, will be screened in the Panorama Dokumente section, while Zuzanna Banasińska’s Kontrewers, a Dutch-Polish-French co-production, will compete in the Berlinale Shorts category.
