The town of Linden in New Jersey, like many others in America, has an international flavor, with more than 100 languages spoken at local schools and a noticeable presence of people from Eastern Europe.

The Polish community is the largest ethnic group there, constituting 15 percent of the town's inhabitants, according to the latest census data.

The Polish community stands out not only for its numbers in the population but also for their success in business and their entrepreneurial spirit. It can be seen in Linden’s banking, food industry and services.

It was one of the reasons Duda made a stop there during his recent visit to New York.

Danuta Isler filed this report from Linden.
