A week after the protest was temporarily suspended, nearly 1,600 lorries were again lined up at the Dorohusk crossing, with the waiting time estimated at 100 hours, according to media reports on Tuesday.
A former Polish ambassador to Ukraine, Jan Piekło, told public broadcaster Polish Radio: “This issue is being handled unprofessionally. Both Polish and Ukrainian businesses are losing out because of the protest, which is why it clearly aligns with Russia's interests.”
He added: "The new government should implement decisive measures and promptly resolve the issue."
