They voiced frustration with certain new European Union policies, particularly those associated with the Green Deal and those keeping EU markets open to Ukrainian agri-food produce.
By blocking roads and expressing their discontent, Poland's farmers have aligned with protests by their counterparts in other European nations, such as France, Italy, Portugal, Bulgaria and Spain.
