Poland marks World Water Day

Poland on Friday joined the international observance of World Water Day, an annual United Nations event held on March 22 since 1992 as part of efforts to address the global water crisis.

With the theme of "Water for Peace" for 2024, this year’s commemoration underscores the integral role of water in fostering harmony, prosperity and resilience on a global scale.

A water cycle out of balance is dangerous. Faced with climate change and growing demand, we must cooperate on water, balancing everyone’s needs.
