Scottish Polish film club celebrated prestigious UK award

A Polish film collective has claimed a distinguished win in the UK.

Operating mainly in Edinburgh and Glasgow, the Borscht Film Club club received an award at a Cinema For All gala in Sheffield.

Cinema For All - a national organization that has supported independent and community cinemas across the UK since 1945 - marked its centenary this year, attracting film enthusiasts and cinema representatives from across the country.

To find out more, Kamila Lutostańska spoke to Agnieszka Koperniak, a curator behind Scotland’s Polish film club.
