Four years into Russia's full-scale invasion, the humanitarian crisis in Ukraine continues to evolve - and in its midst, the impact of war on animals and the environment is a frequently overlooked tragedy.

UAnimals (uanimals.org) is a leading Ukrainian movement tirelessly rescuing animals from the front lines, providing food, and rebuilding shelters - and an exhibition dedicated to its actions recently opened at Warsaw's School of Economics SGH. It showcases the raw, poignant stories of Ukraine's fauna caught in the crossfire - reminding that in the face of destruction, compassion knows no species.
