IMF role for former Polish finance minister

Former Polish Finance Minister Mateusz Szczurek has been appointed director of the European department at the International Monetary Fund.

The IMF announced the appointment on Tuesday.

Szczurek served as Poland's finance minister from 2013 to 2015.
