Now in its second year, the annual event aims to strengthen lasting ties between young members of the Polish diaspora and Poland while encouraging their active participation in the country's social, cultural, and economic life.
Participants met with Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski, who discussed the role of the Polish diaspora in shaping Poland's image abroad. The meeting was followed by a panel discussion featuring senior senators titled Together for the Polish Diaspora.
The program also included a meeting with Andrzej Poczobut, a prominent leader of the Polish minority in Belarus who spent five years imprisoned by the Belarusian authorities. In addition, participants took part in discussions on the Polish language and literature with distinguished cultural figures, including Michał Rusinek, Jerzy Bralczyk, and Michał Ogórek.
Ada Janiszewka attended the event, where she spoke with young people of Polish descent about their heritage, their sense of Polish identity, and their future plans, including whether they see themselves living in Poland.
