Lawmakers have approved amendments to the labour code that would require employers to provide prospective job applicants with information on salaries and benefits, as part of efforts to increase pay transparency.
“This kind of information should be public," MP Adrian Witczak said.
“When people apply for a job, they deserve to know what the position pays. This will also help reduce wage disparities among employees in the same roles," he added.
Meanwhile, Poland’s President Andrzej Duda on Friday signed a bill obliging residential developers to disclose apartment prices online, ending a 30-year gap in market transparency.
