Disinformation is used not only to mislead the global public, but also to fracture alliances, erode trust in institutions and sow confusion on the battlefield.

Lithuanian Deputy Culture Minister Viktor Denisenko discussed the challenges posed by Russian disinformation and propaganda in an interview with public broadcaster Polish Radio.

Speaking to Polish Radio's Mariana Kril in Vilnius, Denisenko described how these threats have evolved alongside Russia’s military operations in Ukraine.

He also outlined strategic efforts Lithuania is taking to counter disinformation, including a comprehensive plan to tackle the issue.
