The tournament is being played outdoors in the heart of the Polish capital, in front of the iconic Palace of Culture and Science, and runs until June 7.
The event marks the first time Poland has hosted the sport's premier international competition.
Ahead of the tournament, Danuta Isler spoke with Polish basketball players Aleksandra Ziemborska and Adrian Bogucki about their expectations and ambitions.
