Waving flags and chanting slogans like “Defend workplaces," "Time for rules" and "Don't wait, regulate", some 30 robots took to the streets of Poland’s capital on Monday to campaign for AI regulation.

(Human) organiser Grzegorz Kuliś claimed the use of robots was meant to demonstrate their potential and, as a result, the urgency of the problem. He called for rules and regulations as a shield protecting workers.

“We can see that those of us who work in high tech on a daily basis feel this its impact somewhat more acutely than other members of society”, Kuliś said.

“That is why we feel it is our responsibility to alert people: listen, we could be facing a problem very soon, and we need to start talking about it now”, he added.
