Dmitry Savluchenko, head of the families, youth, and sports department of the Kherson Military-Civilian Administration, was killed in an apparent assassination, the Reuters news agency reported, citing the deputy head of the administration.

According to Ukraine's ukrinform.net news website, Savluchenko was a "pro-Russian activist and turncoat" and his car was probably blown up by local guerrillas.

"Our guerillas gain another win,” Serhiy Khlanthe chairman of Ukraine's Kherson Regional Military Administration, said in a social media post, as quoted by ukrinform.net.

Friday was day 121 of Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
