Dmitry Savluchenko, head of the families, youth, and sports department of the Kherson Military-Civilian Administration, was killed in an apparent assassination, the Reuters news agency reported, citing the deputy head of the administration.
According to Ukraine's ukrinform.net news website, Savluchenko was a "pro-Russian activist and turncoat" and his car was probably blown up by local guerrillas.
"Our guerillas gain another win,” Serhiy Khlan, the chairman of Ukraine's Kherson Regional Military Administration, said in a social media post, as quoted by ukrinform.net.
