Around 36,200 Russian troops killed in Ukraine: report

Around 36,200 Russian troops have been killed in Ukraine since Vladimir Putin invaded the country in late February, according to Ukrainian military authorities.

The Russians have also lost 1,589 tanks, 3,754 armored fighting vehicles, and 804 artillery systems, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said on Monday, as cited by the ukrinform.net website.

Other Russian losses in Ukraine include 246 multiple launch rocket systems, 105 anti-aircraft warfare systems, 217 warplanes, 187 helicopters, 15 warships, and 658 unmanned aerial vehicles, ukrinform.net reported.

Monday is day 131 of Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
