“Three persons have been killed and 23 injured in the occupiers’ shelling of two districts in the city of Kharkiv today,” the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office said in a statement, as cited by the Ukrinform news agency.

At around 9:30 a.m., Russian forces shelled a public transport stop in Kharkiv’s Kyivskyi district with the Uragan multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS), killing three civilians and injuring 20, the ukrinform.net website reported.

In a separate attack, Russian troops launched an artillery strike on Kharkiv’s Saltivskyi district, hitting a residential building and injuring three civilians, according to the Ukrinform news agency.

Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky said this week that the Russian army "has already used more than three thousand cruise missiles against Ukraine."

He added: "It is impossible to count the number of artillery and other projectiles that were used against our country and our people."
