55 out of 88 four-person modules are already occupied by Ukrainians who lost roofs over their heads after Russia's invasion of their country.
Similar facilities were earlier built in the city of Lviv, as well as in Bucha, Hostel, and Borodianka.
The facility in Irpin was unveiled by Ukraine’s Minister for Communities and Territories Development Oleksiy Chernyshov, and Poland’s Ambassador to Ukraine Bartosz Cichocki.
During the ceremony, Cichocki said Polish government could not stay indifferent to the tragedy of Ukrainians left without homes.
Between late February and early April, invading Russian forces conducted mass civilian killings in Bucha, with the death toll exceeding 460 people, the PAP news agency reported.
