The event will be jointly held by the Ukrainian and Croatian parliaments on Monday and Tuesday.

Due to the ongoing war in Ukraine, the meeting will take place in Zagreb, with the participation of delegations from around 50 countries, Polish state news agency PAP reported.

The Crimea Platform initiative was launched by Ukraine last year. It focuses on the problems of the country's Crimea peninsula, which has been occupied by Russia since it was annexed in 2014.

Polish President Andrzej Duda in August attended the Second Crimea Platform Summit in the Ukrainian capital Kyiv. He declared at the time that "Crimea is Ukraine,” the PAP news agency reported.

Duda in August last year took part in the First Crimea Platform Summit in Kyiv. He told the gathering that Poland "will not be indifferent to Russian attempts to harm Ukraine's territorial integrity and to human tragedy unfolding in the Crimean Peninsula."
