"Our sense of unity, authenticity, life itself--all this contrasts dramatically with the fear that prevails in Russia," Zelensky said in a video address late on Sunday.
He added, as quoted by Ukrainian state news agency Ukrinform: "They are afraid. You can feel it. And they are right to be afraid. Because they are losing. Drones, missiles, anything else will not help them. Because we are together. And they are together only with fear."
He asserted that his country would defend its independence from invading Russian forces.
"We will not give them anything," he vowed.
Zelensky also said he was grateful to his country's energy and utility workers for ensuring stable power supplies despite Russian attacks on critical infrastructure.
"Wherever transmission lines and other energy facilities are damaged by shelling, the restoration continues around the clock," he said.
Monday is day 313 of Russia’s war on Ukraine.
