Russian military death toll in Ukraine rises to 163,320: report

Around 163,320 Russian troops have been killed in Ukraine since Vladimir Putin invaded the country in February last year, according to Ukrainian military authorities.

The Russians have also lost 3,506 tanks, 6,823 armoured personnel vehicles and 2,552 artillery systems during their military campaign in Ukraine, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said on Friday, as cited by state news agency Ukrinform.

On Thursday alone, Ukrainian forces "eliminated" 760 Russian soldiers, according to the ukrinform.net website.

Other Russian losses in Ukraine include 504 multiple launch rocket systems, 265 anti-aircraft warfare systems, 305 warplanes, 290 helicopters, 18 warships, and 2,145 unmanned aerial vehicles, ukrinform.net reported.

Friday is day 387 of Russia’s war on Ukraine.
