On the 6th of November Polish carriers intend to begin blocking freight traffic outside the Polish-Ukrainian border checkpoints "Korczowa - Krakovets", "Grebenne - Rava Ruska", and "Dorohusk - Yahodyn".
Among the demands put forward by protesters is the reestablishment of permits for Ukrainian carriers, strengthening of transport rules for foreign carriers in the EU, creation of separate lines for vehicles with EU plates, and access to the Ukrainian system of border crossing, Shlyakh.
"Despite all the economic difficulties, we should be calm about it, conduct negotiations, and explain that what we're after is also improving the quality of the cargo transportation market in the EU" - Podolyak said.
He also emphasised that it has to be remembered that for Ukraine Poland is a "key transit partner" via which everything necessary for the country is supplied, also the point of view of conducting effective military operations.
"We have to find a balance, and I think we will succeed" - Ukraine's President adviser concluded.
