Ukraine reports overnight drone attacks

Ukraine's air defence systems successfully intercepted and destroyed 35 out of 39 attack drones launched by Russia overnight, according to Ukraine's air force.

Most of the drones were taken down over Ukraine's eastern and southern regions, as reported on the Telegram messaging app.

They were launched from the south, including from the occupied territory of the Kherson region.

The air force did not specify if there was any resulting damage.

Additionally, Russia launched four S-300 anti-aircraft guided missiles, but whether they reached their intended targets remains undisclosed by the air force.
