Renault confirmed that the French Defence Ministry has contacted them about potentially producing drones, but no final decision has been made yet as they await more details.

Reports suggest Renault may manufacture drones in Ukraine, but the ministry has not confirmed any specific company’s involvement.

Defence Minister Sebastien Lecornu mentioned plans to partner a major French carmaker with a small defence firm to establish drone production lines in Ukraine.

Since Russia’s invasion in 2022, drones have been crucial in Ukraine’s defense, aiding surveillance and combat operations against Russian forces.
