“Last night, Russia launched a drone attack on Kyiv and Odesa that killed Ukrainian citizens and destroyed civilian infrastructure," the Polish foreign ministry said in a post on X on Tuesday.
"Following a successful military operation, Putin takes revenge by murdering people of Ukraine," it added. "Our thoughts are with the families of the victims."
On Tuesday night, Russia launched a fresh attack on Ukraine, targeting the northeastern city of Kharkiv using 17 Shahed drones.
According to local authorities, at least two people were killed and more than 50 wounded, including eight children.
"As of now, 64 people have been reported injured, including nine children. Tragically, three people were killed," Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on social media, offering his condolences to the families and loved ones of the victims.
The 10-minute attack damaged residential buildings and cars, and triggered multiple fires. Air raid alerts were also sounded in several other regions across Ukraine.
