As confirmed by IAR, the news agency of the national broadcaster Polish Radio, the discussions will take place in Warsaw at the Władysław Szpilman Studio of Polish Radio.
They will bring together experts and analysts from both countries to examine current cooperation and challenges between Poland and Ukraine.
The first debate, titled “Poland and Ukraine: Reviewing 2025 and Looking Ahead to 2026”, is scheduled for 15 January.
Participants include Maria Zołkina, head of the “Regional Security and Conflict Studies” department at the Democratic Initiatives Foundation, Bartosz Cichocki, historian and Poland’s ambassador to Ukraine from 2019 to 2023 and Daniel Szeligowski, head of the Eastern Europe programme at the Polish Institute of International Affairs.

The discussion will be moderated by Larysa Zadorożna, a journalist at Polish Radio for Ukraine, and Piotr Pogorzelski, deputy director of Polish Radio External Services.
“We hope that through these debates, Poles and Ukrainians can gain a better understanding of each other’s perspectives on the most pressing issues. Perhaps this will help us find common ground,” Pogorzelski said.
The debate will take the form of an open discussion, with audience participation available upon prior registration.
The audio will be broadcast live on Polish Radio for Ukraine, available on the Polskie Radio website, via DAB+, and through TuneIn. A video recording will also be published on YouTube and on Polskie Radio’s Ukrainian-language service.
The next debate in the series is scheduled for 24 February and will focus on aid for Ukraine amid the ongoing conflict.
