The report echoes earlier warnings issued by Polish officials that Moscow could employ seized Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in false-flag or disinformation campaigns.
According to Militarnyi, the claim is supported by photographs taken by a Ukrainian interceptor drone and published by Serhii "Flash" Beskrestnov, an adviser to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. The images allegedly show recovered Ukrainian drones that have fallen into Russian hands.
"I can tell you with certainty that the Russian enemy is collecting our surviving drones, repairing them, and preparing them for future provocations," Beskrestnov wrote in a post on Facebook.
The allegations are consistent with comments made by Polish Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz on July 21. He stated that Russia had intercepted Ukrainian drones and warned that they could be used as part of provocative actions.
Neither Russian authorities nor independent international observers have publicly confirmed the reported use of captured Ukrainian drones in such operations.
