On the sidelines of the meeting, Jacek Siewiera will hold a series of talks with his counterparts from other NATO countries, Polish state news agency PAP reported.

The meeting at NATO's Brussels headquarters will focus on Russia's war in Ukraine and efforts to strengthen allied deterrence and defense in the run-up to NATO's Washington summit in July.

A representative of Sweden will also take part in the gathering of national security advisers at the invitation of NATO's Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg, according to an announcement.

Siewiera is a top national security advisor to Polish President Andrzej Duda. He heads the president’s National Security Bureau (BBN).
