Among the wounded, seven individuals, including two children, are reported to be in serious condition. The assault, which occurred last night, targeted residential areas, hitting a nine-story and a five-story building, sparking a major rescue operation that is currently ongoing. The authorities have warned that the casualty count may rise as the operation continues.

In the aftermath of the attack, 21 of the injured have been hospitalized, while others received outpatient treatments. The victims include a two-month-old baby. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, originally from Kryvyi Rih, took to the X portal to commend the efforts of the rescuers. "I am grateful to everyone involved in the rescue operation, including the State Emergency Service, medics, National Police, psychologists, and volunteers," Zelensky stated.

Meanwhile, the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) has admitted to conducting drone attacks on three major refineries in Russia as part of a strategic effort to undermine the Russian economy and deplete its war resources. The targeted facilities are located in Ryazan, Kstovo in the Nizhnovgorod region, and Kyrsha in the Leningrad region, marking a significant escalation in the Ukrainian counter-offensive.

An SBU representative, speaking anonymously to Interfax-Ukraine, outlined the goal of these operations: to cut off the financial and resource supply lines fueling the Russian war effort.

"Our task is to deprive the enemy of resources, as well as to limit the flow of money from the production and sale of oil and fuel, which Russia sends directly to the war to kill our citizens," the representative explained.

These attacks on Russian soil come amid reports of a fire in Ryazan and multiple explosions at the site, alongside the Moscow Defense Ministry's claim of 65 Ukrainian drones targeting various facilities across six Russian regions. This ongoing conflict has seen a surge in drone warfare, with significant strikes reported on both sides, including attacks on fuel depots, oil processing plants, and even sites crucial to Russia's arms industry.
