In an interview on Monday, Koziej noted that Russia is currently seeking a temporary ceasefire, while Ukraine opposes it. He believes Moscow wants a truce to use the time for negotiations and to prepare for another invasion.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has announced that Ukraine will develop a peace action plan by the end of November, with Kyiv government planning to begin detailed discussions with relevant countries on territorial integrity. Zelenskyy emphasized that he cannot respond to calls for a ceasefire as long as Russia occupies Ukrainian territory.

"Ending the war requires patience, support, and diplomatic pressure - these are the three factors for a just end to the war," Zelenskyy stated.

According to reports, a peace summit, where Zelenskyy believes Russian officials should attend, may take place in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, or Turkey.
