The IBRiS poll for the newspaper Rzeczpospolita found 50.5 percent opposed concessions and 37.4 percent supported them, while 12.1 percent had no opinion.
Of those opposed, 29.3 percent said “definitely no” and 21.2 percent said “rather no.”
Among supporters, 12.7 percent said “definitely yes” and 24.7 percent “rather yes.”
Views diverged by party preference: 77 percent of those backing the ruling camp opposed concessions and 12 percent supported them.
Opposition supporters were more divided: 48 percent favored concessions and 36 percent opposed.
Among non-voters or undecided respondents, 57 percent supported concessions and 41 percent opposed.
The newspaper said the survey noted Russia’s demands for the Donbas region, Crimea and Ukraine’s demilitarization.
The poll was conducted on August 13 and 14 among 1,067 respondents.
