Ukraine’s air force said it shot down 546 of 547 drones and 31 of 40 missiles. Russian strikes hit 11 targets, and falling debris caused damage in three locations.
Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha said Russia used hypersonic, ballistic and cruise missiles, and drones against civilian and energy infrastructure.
In Lviv, one person was killed and two wounded. Mayor Andriy Sadovyi said on Telegram it was a “loud night” as a combined attack with Shahed drones and missiles struck Oleny Stepaniwny Street again, damaging dozens of homes’ windows and roofs, with emergency services at the scene.
An attack also hit the Flex electronics factory in Mukachevo, near Ukraine’s borders with Hungary and Slovakia, injuring about a dozen people.
Explosions were reported in the Zaporizhzhia and Dnipropetrovsk regions and around Poltava and Sumy; residential buildings and industrial facilities were damaged in Zaporizhzhia, and blasts were heard in Lutsk.
Sybiha said Russia’s “terror” targets people, businesses and daily life.
He called bilateral Ukraine–Russia and trilateral Ukraine–U.S.–Russia meetings key to a diplomatic solution, urged robust security guarantees from partners including the United States and European allies, and said the night’s attacks underscore the urgent need for additional air-defense systems and interceptor missiles.
Polish air force and allied aircraft were scrambled in response to the assault.
