Andrij Sybiha expressed solidarity with Poland following the weekend incidents on the Warsaw–Lublin rail line.
Speaking on social media, the diplomat confirmed that Ukraine is ready to provide support if requested and suggested the attacks could be part of a broader hybrid operation by Russia aimed at testing Poland’s response, emphasizing that any such provocations must be addressed firmly.
The sabotage damaged tracks near Życzyn in Garwolin County, close to PKP Mika station.
On a separate stretch near Gołąb in Puławy County, a train carrying 475 passengers was forced to make an emergency stop due to the damaged line. No injuries were reported.
