Polish politicians and experts have weighed in on the latest round of Ukraine peace talks between US President Donald Trump and his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelensky.

Analysts have also assessed the outcome of earlier discussions among European Union leaders, attended by Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk, as well as an EU-US video conference joined by Polish President Karol Nawrocki on Sunday.

President of the Republic of Poland Karol Nawrocki participated in a teleconference between European leaders, US President Donald Trump, and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

Trump said on Sunday that a deal to end Russia's war in Ukraine was "a lot closer" after what he described as a "terrific" meeting with Zelensky in Florida, though several key issues remain unresolved.
