Włodzimierz Czarzasty met with the head of Ukraine's Verkhovna Rada, Ruslan Stefanchuk, on Monday, with both signing a memorandum of support for Ukraine's EU accession bid.
Czarzasty said Poland's own experience of joining the bloc would prove valuable to Ukrainian authorities navigating the process.
"We had a difficult history together, but we must draw lessons from it and build the future on those lessons. We will help you enter the European Union. You will enter the European Union," he said.
Stefanchuk thanked Poland for the military, financial and humanitarian support it has provided since Russia's full-scale invasion began four years ago.
The two officials also viewed the wreckage of a passenger train destroyed by Russian forces.
Czarzasty noted that Ukrainians living in Poland have established 90,000 business units and 20,000 companies, contributing around 3 percent of Poland's GDP.
The Polish lower-house Speaker is also due to meet Ukraine'ss President Volodymyr Zelensky and Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko, and will address the Verkhovna Rada on Tuesday.
The visit coincides with the fourth anniversary of Russia's invasion, which was launched on 24 February 2022.
