In Odesa, Russian drones and missiles hit a maternity hospital, and in the Primorsky district, they caused significant damage to residential buildings, where fires broke out on the upper floors of apartment buildings. Over 10 cars were also damaged. One person died in hospital from their injuries, and 11 others, including a child, were injured.
In Kryvyi Rih, Russians struck an industrial plant. Two workers died and two others were injured. Earlier, Russians attacked the northern part of the city with drones, targeting energy infrastructure and the housing sector.
All these Russian attacks on civilian infrastructure and medical facilities, like thousands of others, have been going on since 2022, break international law and constitute yet another war crime by Putin's regime.
"There was no military purpose whatsoever - this was pure terror against ordinary civilian life. [...] Sadly, there is extensive damage [...]" - the Ukrainian president wrote on social media. Volodymyr Zelenskyy added that the Poltava and Dnipro regions suffered from the invaders' strikes as well. "Each such strike proves that Russia has no intention of ending this war. That is why any easing of pressure on it is dangerous" - the Ukrainian leader continued.
