1920 Battle of Warsaw Special During the Battle of Warsaw, Radzymin, northeast of the capital, was the scene of some of the fiercest fighting; To mark the centenary of the Battle of Warsaw, public broadcaster Polish Radio released a double cd album featuring recollections of commanders and soldiers, recordings of Polish military songs, as well as a rich selection of photographs, posters and newspaper articles from the 1920s. Commemorations of the Battle of Warsaw coincide with the peak of the August pilgrimage season.
