Responding to Nawrocki’s claims during a debate, where he suggested city officials had deliberately hidden an elderly man involved in a controversial apartment case, Dulkiewicz told Polish news outlet WP.pl:

“In Gdańsk - the city of solidarity - people in need are not hidden away, but treated with due respect and professional support. This has always been the case, including with Mr. Jerzy.”

The dispute centers on Nawrocki’s earlier pledge to assist Mr. Jerzy, an 80-year-old man now living in a care home, after acquiring his small apartment.

Warsaw Mayor Rafał Trzaskowski confronted Nawrocki during the debate, accusing him of exploiting the situation for personal gain and failing to honor his commitment.

When questioned about his lack of contact with Mr. Jerzy, Nawrocki responded that "yout collegue hid him," clearly referring to Dulkiewicz without mentioning her by name.
