Official figures show that he secured the highest support in Poland's capital, Warsaw, with 42.27% of the vote, and topped the results across the wider Mazovia region in east-central part of the country.

He also prevailed in the majority of Poland’s provinces, including Mazowieckie, Śląskie, and Dolnośląskie. Nawrocki led in six eastern and southern provinces, such as Małopolskie and Podkarpackie.

Trzaskowski's main rival, Karol Nawrocki of the ruling Law and Justice party (PiS), garnered just over 29% (29.54%), with around 5.7 million votes.

Far-right candidate Sławomir Mentzen came in third with nearly 15% support, totaling 2.9 million votes. Grzegorz Braun followed with just over 6%, backed by around 1.2 million voters.

Szymon Hołownia of the Third Way coalition - an alliance of Poland 2050 and the Polish People’s Party (PSL) - received close to 5%, narrowly ahead of left-wing candidates Adrian Zandberg and Magdalena Biejat.

Krzysztof Stanowski and Joanna Senyszyn each earned just over 1%, while the four remaining candidates failed to reach that threshold.

Vouter turnout in the first round stood at 67.31%. The second round of Poland's presidential election will take place in two weeks, on Sunday, June 1.
