Top Polish officials are to take part in a Catholic Mass dedicated to Poland's regained independence and in a special changing of the guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Warsaw on Monday morning.

Several marches are planned in Warsaw and thousands of police will be patrolling the streets. Officers will also have an eye in the sky, deploying helicopters and drones if the weather permits.

Polish president Andrzej Duda and First Lady Agata Kornhauser-Duda are expected to lay wreaths at monuments to Józef Piłsudski, Wincenty Witos, Roman Dmowski and Ignacy Paderewski, statesmen, leaders and fathers of Polish independence.

The presidential couple is also scheduled to take part in a „We’re Playing for the Independent” concert in front of the Presidential Palace in Warsaw.

The event will see over 60 of popular Polish musicians, including Golec uOrkiestra, Piotr Cugowski, and Andrzej Lampert. The concert will be concluded with Poland’s national anthem.
