Tusk told reporters he would unveil "the new shape of the Cabinet" around July 15.
His ruling Civic Coalition (KO) is currently in talks with its junior coalition partners—the agrarian Polish People’s Party (PSL), the centre-right Poland 2050 group and the Left—on the scope of the reshuffle, state news agency PAP reported.
Speaking to reporters on June 20, Tusk announced plans to consolidate ministries for greater efficiency.
He told a news conference at the time that the reshuffle would focus on improving the government’s functionality, including merging certain ministries.
The expected reshuffle comes after the Civic Coalition failed to win the presidency in a recent election—a setback that could hinder Tusk's pro-European agenda over the remaining two and a half years of his government's term.
Meanwhile, opposition leader Jarosław Kaczyński over the weekend outlined plans for his conservative Law and Justice (PiS) party to return to power in the 2027 parliamentary election.
Planned moves include reshaping and expanding the party’s internal structure, Kaczyński said.
