Nearly 40% of Poles have a negative view of Roman Giertych’s role in the post-election protests, according to a recent SW Research poll for Polish news outlet Onet.pl.

About 25% approve of his actions, while over a quarter remain undecided, and one in ten haven’t heard of the issue at all.

This reflects public opinion on the behavior of Roman Giertych, a popular lawyer and MP from the ruling Civic Coalition (KO), following the Supreme Court’s recent dismissal of over 50,000 election protests, many of which were filed using a template created by Giertych.

The online survey, conducted in early July 2025 with a representative sample of 804 adults, found that 39.4% disapprove of Giertych’s actions related to the post-presidential election protests, 24.5% support him, 25.7% are undecided, and 10.3% had not heard about the issue.
