The White House announced on Tuesday evening that Trump had personally appointed the delegation, which was led by Small Business Administration chief Kelly Loeffler.
The group also included Daniel Lawton, the chargé d’affaires at the US embassy in Warsaw; presidential advisers Vincent Haley and Ross Worthington; and State Department officials John Armstrong, Wyatt Toehlke and John Walczyk.
Private broadcaster TVN24 reported that Nawrocki received a sculpture of the American eagle from Trump, delivered by the US delegation during their visit to Warsaw.
Polish conservative lawmaker Marcin Przydacz, who met with the envoys at the Belweder Palace on Tuesday, described the gift as an unusual but welcome gesture that signaled "good cooperation."
He said he was told the statue was a replica of the American eagle emblem.
Nawrocki took office on Wednesday after being sworn in at a joint session of parliament, attended by Polish officials and foreign guests, including the US delegation.
The new Polish president met with Trump during the election campaign on May 2. After Nawrocki’s victory, Trump congratulated him and called him a US ally. Nawrocki later said that a "strong alliance with the United States" would be one of his key priorities.
