The deals were announced by Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz on Friday.
Kosiniak-Kamysz said new equipment was being bought not only from domestic contractors, but also NATO partners such as Sweden and Turkey.
The first contract, worth PLN 500 million (EUR 119 million), is for the purchase of an electronic reconnaissance system from Sweden's SAAB.
Kosiniak-Kamysz said SAAB and Sweden were Poland's “tried and tested partners.”
He added that electronic reconnaissance in the air and on the ground was “indispensable for responding adequately.”
The second contract is for the purchase of a PLN 2 billion (EUR 480 million) radio-electronic warfare system from Turkey's ASELSAN.
The equipment is due to be delivered by 2035.
Kosiniak-Kamysz said Poland was spending EUR 480 million on "radio-electronic warfare, anti-drone systems and systems that disrupt radio waves and make it possible to shoot down drones."
The third contract, worth PLN 100 million (EUR 24 million), is for the purchase of six Leopard 2PLM tank simulators from Poland's Autocomp.
Kosiniak-Kamysz said the Polish army has over 250 Leopard tanks at its disposal.
He told reporters that since taking over as defence minister in December 2023, he has overseen the signing of 200 contracts for new equipment for the Polish army, worth a total of PLN 250 billion (EUR 59.4 billion).
