Speaking at a panel on the initiative at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, Nawrocki described the transatlantic bond as the region’s "strategic compass".

He said the Three Seas Initiative had evolved from an idea into a framework for regional transformation, highlighting infrastructure projects linking north and south Europe and the role of energy connections such as the Baltic Pipe.

The region was now "the fastest-growing part of Europe", the Polish president said, citing Via Baltica and Via Carpatia as examples of how north–south connectivity is reshaping the continent.

Nawrocki added that the initiative "serves as a bridge" between a fast-growing part of Europe and the capital, technology and global outlook of the United States and its allies, particularly at a time of global uncertainty.

The Three Seas Initiative is a regional cooperation platform bringing together 13 EU countries in Central and South-Eastern Europe, focused on infrastructure, energy and connectivity between the Baltic, Adriatic and Black seas.
