In 2023, average monthly disposable income in Poland was PLN 2,678, while in 2022 it stood at PLN 2,355, according to the state-run Statistics Poland (GUS) agency.
Statistics Poland defines disposable income as total personal income minus taxes, social security and public health insurance contributions.
The office reported last month that average wages in Poland's corporate sector increased by 5.4 percent in April compared with the same month last year.
The average gross Polish monthly wage in April was PLN 9,530.74 (EUR 2,250, USD 2,620), according to the statistical office.
In the first quarter of this year, the average wage in Poland rose 6.7 percent compared with the same quarter of 2025.
The country's minimum monthly wage increased 3 percent at the start of this year to PLN 4,806, from PLN 4,666 in 2025.
Meanwhile, inflation stood at 3.1 percent in year-on-year terms in May, according to a flash estimate released by Statistics Poland at the end of last month.
