Żurek's statement indicated the inquiry is proceeding "dynamically," with new witness testimony and investigative steps producing what prosecutors describe as "essential" developments toward clarifying the full circumstances of the case.
However, he declined to disclose details.
The Prosecutor General's office is looking into financing connected to several high-profile figures and organizations.
These include foundations linked to former Justice Minister Zbigniew Ziobro and private television channel Telewizja Republika.
The investigation also covers sponsorship of a CPAC conference, alleged financial benefits to Polish Olympic Committee president Radosław Piesiewicz, and assistance provided to Marcin Romanowski, Ziobro's deputy, who has fled Poland.
Żurek said the coming days would involve "intensive work" by police and prosecutors, and appealed for public patience.
When asked directly about reports from Polish media that Zondacrypto head Przemysław Kral had become a state's witness, the minister declined to comment.
Kral took over as head of the exchange, then known as BitBay, in 2021 from its founder, Sylwester Suszek, who disappeared in March 2022 under unexplained circumstances and has not been found since.
Zondacrypto collapsed in April after customers were unable to withdraw money invested in crypto assets, with total losses estimated at PLN 350 million (EUR 81 million).
